I humbly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which I write and share this blog, the Yugara/Yugarapul and Turrbal peoples. I pay my respects to their Elders—past, present, and emerging—and honour their enduring connection to this land, waters, and culture. As I share stories, insights, and learnings here, I am reminded that sovereignty was never ceded. This was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land. With a spirit of respect and reflection, I acknowledge the profound connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have with their country - a bond that is both ancient and enduring. This acknowledgment is a reminder of the respect and recognition owed to the First Peoples of this land, whose practices and spiritualities are woven into the very fabric of this country's history and future. Through these blogs and articles, I share my thoughts, stories, and reflections with an awareness and respect for the significance of the ground beneath my feet. It is a privilege to live, work, and create on this land, and I intend to contribute positively to the ongoing journey of reconciliation and mutual respect. May the words I share serve not only as expressions of my journey but as steps toward greater understanding and connection between all who dwell on this ancient, sacred land.
